Summer is Ending!

"Summer is where the girls go barefoot and their hearts are just as free as their toes."

Summer is coming to an end and school is just around the corner. This summer went by pretty quick. It felt like just yesterday, I was getting my books out of my lockers. Being the last summer of high school,  I wanted to be a summer to remember. I've had an amazing surprise birthday with my friends and a fun trip to Six Flags with my family. Turning 17 this year, I've grown for sure. After everything that has gone on in my life, I now know for sure that nothing can ever bring me down.

As to what will I be doing for the last weeks of summer?...

This Thursday, my family and I are heading to Philadelphia to spend a couple days with my family there. We found out that my cousin is expecting twins so why not drive and celebrate the news! (: Everytime we vacation in Philly, my family ALWAYS visit the same places. Its Atlantic City one night and the mall another night. Since we will be driving, hopefully I can catch up on some of my reading and get ready for the school year.

Following the weekend in Philadelphia, my parents planned a getaway to Springfield for the weekend. Since we live 2 hours away, we decided to stay for the weekend and go to Six Flags. One day we plan to spend in the water park and the next day we plan to just stay around the park.

This summer was a summer to remember for sure. My family was a big part of my summer as well as my friends. Although it started off pretty rocky, this summer is planning out to be one perfect summer.

Hey Everyone!

"Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other."

Hey Guys!

It's been a while huh? I've been working a lot lately to cover up for the hours that I requested off. On the 19th of August, my family and I are heading to Philadelphia for the weekend and the following weekend, we're spending it in Springfield.

Mhh so what have you been up to then?!..

Besides work, I've been trying to enjoy the last weeks of summer. I haven't started on any reading for school, but will soon (: What else...My aunt, who's been on bed rest for some time now, had the baby. She was born premature at 2lbs and has to stay in the NICU for the next two or three months. Last, I've decided to get a new car. I will be paying for this car myself so I'm trying to save up as much as i can. Until next time.

A Little Update (:

“Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today.”

Hey Everyone!

I know it's been a couple days since I've posted a blog.  I've been trying to catch up with everyone before they leave school next year.  The past couple of days were very stressful and I haven't been myself lately.  Alot has been going on in my life and I just realize that I can't handle it on.  I put so much on myself and tried to accomplish many tasks at once, but I couldn't do it.

Lately, I've been trying to film some videos but then my camera broke, so I might have to film everything again using my laptop camera =/.  Its time for me to get back on track with everything and I'm trying as hard as I can to get through everything.  Only time will tell when the time is right I guess.

A Dose of Kathielinna

"It took me a long time not to judge myself through someone else's eyes."

Growing up, I must say I had all that anyone could of asked for.  I lived in a beautiful two-family house with basically everyone.  Even though my parents gave birth to me at such a very young age, they managed to get their lives on track and support not only themselves, but their family as well.  I grew up in a neighborhood were nothing really happened, but in the City of Sin.  Lynn was a place, with a reputation, and growing up, I've learned that this city made me the person I am today.

I was given the name Kathielinna on July 13th.  I grew up in a household with many little kids running around.  The house was owned by my parents and rented out by my aunts and grandparents.  The next years, my family started to expand, and I became the oldest of 3 kids.  I was a stubborn child and always cried for everything.  Now I realize how hard my parents worked, which inspired me to change my ways.

As a 17-year old teenager, I'm living my life with no regrets.  My parents took my siblings and I out of Lynn to place thats NOT EVEN ON THE MAP!  We moved into a small, quiet town in New Hampshire.  Took a while for me to get use to it because no cars were on the roads past 9, no street lights, and barely any police sirens.  Living in New Hampshire for the past 6 years has changed my life.  I can say that now, I'm in a place were anything is possible.
